Oysters Simmered in Cream and Garlic

20161213_103034Oysters make a delightful breakfast. I respect eggs a lot for as high nutrition for a low price but I like to mix it up too. If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, how about a high quality food like oysters.

I took the oysters and added some water. I very gently simmered the oysters for a few minutes. Then I added the cream and a sliced up clove of garlic when I was sure the heat wasn’t too high. No salt is necessary as the oysters provide it.  After the broth becomes a sauce then oysters will be finished. Plate and enjoy your high quality breakfast. 


20 Oysters

1 Clove of Garlic

1/4 cup of cream

1/4 cup of water
